The after picture.  To say I ate a little dust would be an understatement.  The organizers screwed up and while most starting lines had 2 or 3 riders, ours had five and right off the bat I was eating twice the dust of other starters.

My worst crash (the 3rd of 4) produced this result.  I now know about impacting wood as I got "stumped", stamped with a temporary "mark of the tree that used to be".
