My original plan was to ride Friday to Winnemucca for dinner. Weather prevented me from completing that option.

Instead I met Dennis York in Camas and we rode out WA-14 with a loop to Goldendale via Klickitat and back to Stonehenge at Maryhill

At Stonehenge we met Lloyd Gardner who'd ridden down from Everett. While we waited (ten minutes at most) I snapped a few pictures.

From here we continued west on WA-14 to US-395 south and eventually I-84 east.

Weather was clear and cool with a good breeze.

Climbing east out of Pendleton the cloud cover grew thicker and temps nosedived about 13 degrees.

As the early afternoon turned late we decided to head for Ontario for the evening.

We figured Ontario would be warmer than Baker City, especially in the morning.

It was dark by the time we left the freeway in Ontario and the breeze had not abated.

A cheap motel was found quickly and the recommened restaurant was located.

Three hungry biker dudes chowed down and had a brewski or two before calling it a day.

Turns out Ontario is just a short hop from Horseshoe Bend and would be a short ride on Saturday morning.

Rising early we had plenty of time to sample a few "slams" at a well know eatery across the street. We lolled here for quite a while enjoying our breakfast and conversation.

Riding slowly we were still the first to arrive at the Riverside restaurant.
